I use the blender to mix protein powder, collagen powder, flax seed, almond milk and, frozen fruit. I tried just dumping everything in and hitting the pulse a few times and then level 1 and 2. Nope...wasnt blending well. The best way is add everything except the fruit...blend on 1...then add the frozen fruit...pulse a few times...then blend on 1 and 2....turns out very smooth.

I couldn't be happier! The only downside was that the o-ring dislodged while blending and became tangled and tore a bit, But I don't regret my purchase. I should actually have checked that it was secure. I do wish the compatible replacement o-rings were easy to identify for purchase though. What I love about this model is the size of the cup because after adding ice a smaller cup would not work for my frozen coffee drinks and smoothies. And it really is powerful enough to crush ice. Its the perfect size to fold a bendable straw inside it and snap the cap shut. No regrets:)
