Spray the bolts days before removal and day of with PB Blaster Penetrating or similar. The job was easy because all the bolts came out to remove both manifolds. Align the exhaust into the pipe and then onto the studs at each end. Install the 4 lower intake bolts and washers 1 turn in and lower the intake down and attach the top bolts and washers. There are 2 locating pins for the intake (pictured), make sure the intake is centered on them or the manifold will break! It's a “fun” doable project. Plan for 5 hours R%26R plus more if you paint intake with Duplicolor DE1650. Torque 23 and 24 ft pounds with a very specific center out torque pattern. If you need a new PS pump and or hoses, belt, idler pulley, do it now. Also, change motor and trans mounts because the cracked driver's side caused movement leading to the crack (pictured) on the exhaust manifold. It will crack one day because of all the heat cycles, lengthen the time before the next crack with new mounts. Buy new bolts made for the job from FelPro and reuse the thick washers.
