Luckily I bought both sizes, because one cat is fatter than the other. Both cats are declawed in the front, but when ever I try to trim their back nails I end up being tore up (bloody and all!). It's a nylon/mesh bag which the instructions say you can use to bath them in (NO THANK YOU!) There are 2 zippers in the front and 2 in the back that can be opened one at a time to pull a leg out and trim the nails. I put missy (the ol' 12 year cat from haites) in the bag (after much wrestling and holding down by my wife and myself) when you fasten the Velcro around the neck area make sure you do it tightly and securely.....after trimming 2 nails she bolted right out of the bag! Stuck her back in and after bandaging myself up from her wrath, proceeded to finish the job. Maddie, our 2 year old fat cat, I shoved in the larger bag. Secured everything tightly and trimmed her nails. Minuses the nasty looks and hissing it went smoothly. Will see how it goes the next time.....
