It is really warm! It will do the job on freezing cold and windy days. It is also waterproof/resistant. Perfect for attending outdoor winter sports events! You should know that this coat weighs a ton. Yes, it is heavy, which is why it is so warm. And remember, it is long...that adds some weight to it too. I would re-purchase it if I had to do it all over again!

A great coat to keep you super warm.

I love this coat and after trying it on I know that I am going to be super toasty warm this winter. Another reviewer said it probably weighs about five pounds, but I think maybe a little more. No complaints though. It hits me a little below my knee. I am 5'4. I will be able to wear a sweatshirt under it with problem. Super happy. I definitely would recommend this coat if like me, you have to catch public transportation and need a coat that will keep the wind out. Deliver went smooth and arrived earlier than expected.
