Good Brackets

These are heavy brackets which support a mast well. I used 1" EMT metal electrical conduit for the mast. The large set screw could be shorter, since I routed the cable from the antenna down the center of the conduit and it tended to snag on the end of the set screw which protruded inside the conduit. I used protective caps from 1" threaded galvanized piped (which I got from the local home center pipe rack) to protect the antenna cable from chafing on the sharp edge of the conduit. I had to secure the caps in place with hose clamps because the caps were of a larger diamater than the EMT.
