Worked great for my son.
I bought this for my son. With a third child just born he now has three kids in the back seat of his suv and when bringing his dogs to my house they would jump into the middle back seat. Well now with the baby there he didn't want them to do that, obviously, but their dogs. Hard to explain to them the change and why they couldn't do that. So I went to my trusty Walmart and found this. Well my son used it this weekend to bring the dogs over. He said it was easy to put in, easy to adjust and the large rubber disks on the top and bottom doesn't damage his car. Best of all it kept the dogs, two 50lbs pitties in the back, must to their dismay. I would definitely recommend this.
