BEAUTIFUL SHOE, however

The Luella is an exquisite shoe. I got it in the coral suede color. Unfortunately, I had to return because of the heel height and pitch of the shoe. Perhaps, Sam Edelman, an inch shorter? I would buy all the colors!!

Bulky back zipper awkward

The only thing I do not really like about this sandal is the zipper on the back. This is the second pair I've ordered that has this feature. It is difficult to get in and out of and feels odd on the ankle. Much prefer a clasp on the side closure and something less rigid and bulky on the back.

Cute/Inconsistent Quality

I've seen two pair in person because they run a touch big and I had to return my usual 7.5 for a 7. The first pair looked much higher quality than the second pair. The clear thread another reviewer mentioned is very prominent on the 7, but wasn't on the 7.5, etc. Other reviewers are also right about the pitch. I don't plan to walk in them much, or at all. Still, they're really cute on and I will keep them for events where I'm mostly sitting anyway.
