The fan came unassembled in a box and I was daunted when I saw that but no need to be it's really easy to put together within 5 minutes tops and you're using your fan. I love the fact that it's portable and gives off a lot of air for the size of the fan. Another great fact is that it's so quiet you can hear the tv, radio, etc.
