Tree Hugger Bench

I knew when a young tree was planted in front of our house I wanted a bench around it. It's a great spot to sit and watch the kids play. But benches were all too uncomfortable (metal), too expensive, or ugly. This bench is none of that. Great price, looks lovely, and so far very sturdy! My neighbors have dubbed it "the wine bench". My only warning is to first level the ground. I did not do that so I'm doing it after the fact. The ground must be level or else the bench will snap when someone sits on it. In my picture you will notice my temporary leveling until it's properly done. LOVE this bench! You do need another person to help put it together. My kids helped hold things in place while I screwed parts together.
