Great for kitchens or front-of-house show cooking, the Adcraft IND-DR120V commercial induction cooktop drops into 10.50-inch by 10.50-inch countertop cutouts. The ceramic cooking surface stays cool to the touch, only heating the compatible cookware that is placed on it. A dense copper coil in the unit creates a magnetic field above the cook surface, and when a pan is placed on top, the electrons vibrate and produce heat for cooking. A control box is included with this Adcraft IND-DR120V drop-in induction cooktop and can be installed in a location close to the unit. It has digital controls and a 180-minute timer to track the cooking process. The thermostat is also adjustable on the box, with a maximum level of 464 degrees Fahrenheit.
