not up to normal Irwin standards

The particular pliers that I got were not quite good enough. The two halves did not fit together perfectly, and you could tell that it would wear out sooner than it should. This surprised and disappointed me, because normally Irwin tools are high quality. I would still buy Irwin tools in the future, because I would chalk this up to a unique manufacturing defect. However, I am returning these pliers.
