Practical Kayak Carrier

This i probably the only solution to carry your kayak on a car roof without rails. I have been kayakaking for 20 years and this solution worked out really well for shorter distances of transporting the kayak. I have been more doubtful about driving on the freeway but even that worked out well in the calm winds I drove. I have not tried longer distances yet, but so far the tape and buckle stayed tight after the transporting.

I took an 8' x 10' flatbed trailer that i had purchased for this project and you Apex Kayak Carrier Foam Blocks were the ideal thing to properly secure the kayaks to the trailer. Now I know my kayaks ride safe and secure. The price was very good also. Great product that is simple and easy to use.

Great for the price

I cannot get a roof rack for my car, thule and the others don't make them. I have a 16 foot canoe that I haul on my recent car and my last car. I just bought a yak and purchased this foam block kit and it works awesome. For the money you can't beat it. The fact that the kit came with straps was a bonus. I looked around and it's kit was less expensive then blocks without straps.
