Uxcell M16 x 2 Titanium Plated Spiral Flute Thread Tap Round Die Tap and Die Set
- Tap and die set are suitable for making or repairing male and female threads, good for general purpose applications. The thread tap is spiral flute design, upward chip removal.
- Suitable for processing blind holes or deep holes and sticky materials. Great for fast drilling and tapping in aluminum, die steel, stainless steel, bronze, hard plastics, etc..
- The machine spiral flute threading tap provides high hardness and high toughness. Titanium plating improve wear resistance, corrosion resistance, rust protection. Alloy tool steel round die features high strength, high toughness, abrasion and corrosion resistance. Tap and die set are sharp and durable, and with clear threads to meet the processing requirements.
- Round dies can be used with die wrench (not included). The fastening screw in the middle of the wrench should be inserted into the slot of the die and tightened. Machine taps are suggested to be used with tap collets with overload protection. Hand use is easy to cause breakage to the tap due to uneven force. Used with tapping oil can get threads and make taps and dies more durable. Suitable lubricating oil should be added to the cutting edge of dies and taps when tapping.
