I have a raked transom which almost pushes you off the swim platform when standing on it so a swim platform ladder is not very helpful. My wooden hull makes mounting a side ladder a bit troublesome being that the boat is 50 years old. This leaves a hook ladder as my best option on very a very large freeboard. I have used this ladder twice and find that it works great. I weight 210# plus the diving weights put me around 250#. Fast shipping. Thanks Walmart.

Great quality for a good price
I lost my boat ladder when I drove off into the sunset last summer. I tried to order a new one from my boat dealership, and they wanted over $150 plus shipping and tax for a new one. I am glad I held off placing the order until I checked with Walmart. This boat ladder is exactly what I needed; I adjusted the bumpers to fit right against my pontoons and it is as sturdy as can be. The value is excellent for one-third the price at a boat dealership.
