Very quiet for heavy tread

They are very quiet. Seem to track very well. I am very happy with them overall. I thought I had a bad back wheel bearing, but cant hear the noise since putting these tires on my 2005 Explorer 4wd

EXCELLENT TIRE

Just purchased 6 of these for my 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4. For the last 2 winters, the tires I purchased were just weak - had very minor (thankfully) slides on ice that have never happened before on my 320,000+ truck. I've known this truck since brand new, so I know what my truck likes. I spend my weekends in deep winter weather. This past weekend was 1st real test - passed with flying colors! Found myself going faster and more secure than I have in quite awhile! Highly recommend. They passed the Valley County Idaho winter test!

Best winter tire I have ever had.

I have had many different tires and dedicated winter tires. This one even outperformed the Cooper ATP I bought and paid extra to have siped. At the time I thought it was the best. The ATW far surpasses it. Combined with 4WD, it has been thus far, unstoppable in even a foot of snow. Has great stopping bite even on hardpacked compacted untreated snow. Or what we refer to as pack ice. I work for the County Highway department and absolutely must get in when called to clear roads no matter how bad the storm conditions are, 24/7. This tire is a pleasure to run in the worst conditions on my Tahoe.
