Item came wrapped in bubble wrap, not in original

I ordered this wireless controller as a birthday gift, but it arrived unboxed and only wrapped in bubble wrap. If this is truly a new item, it's unclear why it wasn't shipped in its original packaging. Since I didn't open the package until the day of the birthday, I wasn't able to check it beforehand. Now I'm left questioning whether I received a genuine product or a knock-off — especially frustrating considering I paid full price. Very disappointed.

Poorly made

The controller itself is amazing.. It just was broken out of the box, the left analog stick lock system didn’t work in 2 ways. The key would tighten it but after playing for 20 seconds it loosened. Than the stick would completely spin around as I was playing. ALSO, the bottom paddle on the right side did not function at all.
