They work

These hold 20 rounds well enough. They are designed to fit long and magnum calibers, such as 30-06, so if you use them for the shorter calibers, 308 NATO, the rounds will rattle around. Not a big deal for my intended uses but if you need them for stalking or stealth mode you might need to find something else because they will make noise.
