So far, outstanding

I bought this more than a year ago but am just now installing and testing for possibly supplying these to my clients. I've installed two used 1TB Western Digital Enterprise hard drives as RAID1. Installing drives that previously were part of a RAID array on Intel server boards can be very problematic, but the array was built and drives initialized flawlessly. As a test, I have set up a backup routine in Cobian Backup to copy 45GB worth of data to the drives every 60 minutes, keeping ten copies and deleting the oldest. The initial copy took 6 minutes and 31 seconds, which is really good for a USB backup of this size. I will continue to run this test and report back if there are any problems, but so far, I'm very impressed.

Sorry Guys, the Drive Keeps Crashing

I have had this drivebay for a little over a month. Every week I have had to reformat the drives because the OS says that the drives are no longer readable. I have it set for RAID 1. Luckily I am using it as a utility drive, so the data is not too important, but losing the drive upon reboot is a real problem.
