I recently picked up this Zelda series amiibo, and it has been a total hit in our household. If you are looking for a gift that combines a cool shelf piece with actual gameplay perks, this is it.The NFC chip is responsive and scans instantly on the Nintendo Switch.My kids are obsessed with scanning it daily to see what "treasures" drop.Even when it's not being used in-game, the craftsmanship is top-notch. It's a sturdy, detailed figure that looks great on a display shelf.I was very impressed with the service. The packaging was secure (no crushed corners!), and the shipping was fast. Zelda

I got to try her out in Super Smash Brothers Wii U right away. She leveled to 50 quickly in 8 player smash and is now a huge threat in matches. Those fireballs are so deadly. Zelda is my strongest amiibo now. We'll see if that's still true when I get the ones I pre ordered from the upcoming wave.

3 generation amiibo. Has picture of switch on back

Would be better if they gave more information on this amiibo. It's not even second. Was hoping it was 1st or 2nd generation. Example: 1st generation has a picture of the Wii U on the back, 2nd generation has Wii U and 3ds on the back. This amiibo has the Wii U, 3ds, and switch on the back. So it is fresh out of the amiibo making factory. But still good for collecting none the less.
