5-Pin Male to 3-Pin Female DMX Converter Connect your 3-pin and 5-pin DMX cables and equipment together using this 5-Pin Male to 3-Pin Female DMX Converter from Monoprice! This anodized aluminum adapter features a male 5-pin DMX plug at one end and a female 3-pin DMX plug with lock release button at the other end. This adapter will pass the signal ground on pin 1 as well as the DMX data signal on pins 2 and 3. Any auxiliary data carried on pins 4 and 5 will be lost.
