Maries Artist Charcoal Pencil 12 Piece Set, Extra-Soft Black Paper Handle Charcoal Pencils for Drawing and Sketching

I bought a box of the soft pencils, and I have really enjoyed using them so far. I cannot believe how cheap they are because the quality is very good. I was a little confused by the "paper wrapped" description since they look like regular wooden pencils, but the wood is very thin like paper, and the core is thick and sturdy. The pencils are heavy and have a very nice finish. I sharpen these pencils in my wall mounted crank sharpener, and they come out with beautiful points. The charcoal is very smooth, velvety, and black, but it allows a nice range of grays. I will probably buy these again and maybe the extra soft, too.
