This microscope package comes with a high power compound microscope, a USB digital camera (imager), a 100pc slide set and the microscope book, The World of The Microscope. It is designed for home school or students to learn science. The microscope offers five magnification settings, 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X and 1000X. It has full optical glass elements, metal framework, 360 degree rotatable monocular head, a 640x480 px detachable digital imager and the LED illumination system that uses either an outlet (adapter included) or three AA batteries. The 100-piece prepared slide set includes assorted specimens of plants, insects and animal tissues, packed in a fine storage box. The digital camera captures still images and video, and allows you to view a live stream on your PC. The included software for Windows offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while capturing high-definition images. On Mac computers, the camera can be used as a driverless imaging device, compatible with various applications, such as ProScope and Photo Booth. The book investigates the enormous variety of objects too small for the eye to see. Step-by-step diagrams show how to get the best from a microscope and how to make and keep slides. It covers different types of microscopes and there are plenty of exciting suggestions for projects which reveal the incredible detail of everyday objects. This is a wonderful microscope package for home school or for students, from elementary to high school, and hobbyists.
