Use as a chair

I've been using a ball like this as a chair for years now. It is, as far as I know, the only one you can buy that has sand in it. I've purchased 3 of Gold's gym's Stayballs, 2 of this exact type, and they're all made with excellent quality and durability. The pump that comes with it is almost useless. Just use an air compressor. And yes, they say don't use an air compressor, but unless you go crazy with it, it's fine to use. You can adjust the final air pressure with the useless pump they provide, which, by the way, is the most poorly engineered piece of junk ever made to pump air. It's seriously made to pinch your skin while pumping the least amount of air possible into the ball. You'll have to pump air into the ball several times in the beginning because it takes a bit to get the material to fully stretch out. So it'll feel like it's losing air but the material is just stretching itself out.

Great product. I bought them to use as chairs for my 8th grade Healthy Lifestyles Classes. The students love them for their comfort and their ability to move around a bit, rather than sitting in a hard plastic chair. They will also come in handy to use as fitness tools:) The Stability balls seem to be very sturdy. they are stable, anti burst, fairly easy to inflate, and can hold up to 350 pounds, very comfortable and allow for core movement. Movement and learning are proven to be Fabulous Educational partners.
