Excellent splitting axe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the large splitting axe 15 or more years ago and it's been a great axe. I didn't have any of the breakage others have reported but I inspected the available axes and chose the one with the best handle. I however do like a little longer of a handle and replaced it with a 40inch handle. I've split tons of wood with this axe. I'd highly recommend this product.

Fantastic harth side splitter

We have had this almost 2 years next to out wood stove and it is fantastic for starting fires and breaking up firewood stove side. Fantastic size, shape works great and all around High quality tool. Make sure to keep oiled properly when staying near wood stove. By doing so we see absolutely no signs of drying, cracking, or shrinking.
