Mainstays Warm Apple Pie Scented Frosted Glass Single-Wick Jar Candle, 19.25-ounce

I hadn't tried these slightly more expensive Mainstays candles in the frosted jars. I had tried the other, clear jar version of the Mainstays Vanilla scent, and all I can say is this slightly more pricey one blows the other out of the water. I think this candle is *almost* as scented as MUCH more expensive candles, without emptying my wallet. This is a soft, comforting, sugar cookie kind of vanilla. If I am having a bad day, I light this candle, and life becomes much sweeter. That said, it's not *too* sweet, or fake smelling. It smells like vanilla extract minus the alcohol. Just- nice. I think this scent would be good for cheering someone up, and not with an in-your-face kind of scent. It's also great to have a truly vanilla smelling candle without floral or “burnt” notes lurking in the background. Kids and older folks seem to especially like it. If you're having a bad day (all too common in these crazy times) pick up one of these. It's a small thing, but it's sure to put a smile on your face. :)

Best affordable candle! Like it says, it is highly fragranced and it also burns evenly and lasts a long time! My favorite candle, and even better it is affordable! For $8 it compares to high end candles! We ran out at my local Wal-Mart (apparently everyone else loves them too) so now I have to order.
