The 3M Medipore Cloth Surgical Tape #2862, provided as a 2 inch by 10 yard roll, is a soft and highly conformable non-woven polyester tape. It offers excellent adhesion while remaining gentle to the skin, effectively reducing the risk of irritation. This comfortable, porous, and breathable tape stretches to accommodate swelling and movement, featuring excellent cross and diagonal stretch. It is perforated for easy hand tearing and is simple to handle, even with gloves, without curling edges or sticking to itself. Being latex-free, hypoallergenic, and water-resistant, it is particularly useful for securing wound dressings, tubing, and catheters, especially for sensitive patients or in applications where preserving "at risk" skin is critical.

3M Medipore Surgical tape is gentle on the skin yet provides general security needed to keep the wound bandages in place. While I tried other good varieties of tapes, 3M Medipore proved to be the best for me in securing the bandage in place. The tape can be removed "ouch" less:'if needed one can use foam spray in removing the tape and it is peeled out easily. Although it is more expensive than the other brands, I feel it is justified due to the other above mentioned good qualities. I highly recommend this product to those who needed it.
