This Gilmour Pro is a hefty heavy duty sprinkler that I was not expecting when I received it in the mail. When I first picked up the box I was amazed at the weight of the sprinkler. I thought it was going to be a cheaper light sprinkler that may last 1 summer. Boy was I wrong! First I will start off with the tripod. The tripod is heavy duty with tons of adjustments. The tripod is better than my telescope tripod and extremely sturdy an well built. Second I want to talk about the the sprinkler head. This head has an amazingly long spray. It turns in a circular pattern and easily covers my entire yard. It turns moves and has that clicker water spread. Lastly, and most important is the construction of the whole unit. It is nothing short of amazing in every since of the word. I believe the will last me using daily for 110 years. Probably more. I would not hesitate to purchase another one and as a matter of fact I am ordering another one for my back yard. It is that amazing!! If you are in the market for a great sprinkler that is heavy duty and has an amazing spread, this is the one for you!

We just bought some acreage and I am starting a good sized garden. I need an efficient watering system and am testing this one out. So far it is performing very well. It has great range and offers 8,500 square feet coverage. It is super easy to adjust (58 in). The tripod allows 360 decree rotation by tripping lever, this will allow the sprayer to go into a full circle. The dials are simple to use also. The tab under the sprinkler head will reverse direction, but you have to do this by hand to set it up. The tripod is light and aluminum, be sure to get it securely in the ground on all 3 legs. Gilmour placed iron posts inside to give it weight. The hose connection is plastic, so be careful not to overtighten, but don't worry, done properly will hold a good fit and I have had no water leakage. This is important to get good water pressure. This sprinkler functions exactly as I hoped it would and I plan to add more to my garden as it grows.
