This gate was purchased to keep our new puppy in the kitchen / living area so we could see her all the time. It is great as it is easy open with a step and when carrying laundry to be done it is easy to walk thru as it opens with a step. Easy to set up and may even need to purchase a second one to keep puppy down stairs. Getting tired of climbing over baby gate.

This is a great gate, so much better than the old models. It has better tension pads. The gate latch is a lot sturdier. It is put together much stronger than the older models. I love the spring open and back to lock feature. We liked the first one so much we bought a second.
