Helen Keller

In my opinion I feel Hellen Keller was the best book ever. I enjoyed this book by author, Margaret Davidson because of two main reasons. The author really out did herself with the theme of the story and the point of view. The first reason I would recommend this book is because of the theme. Helen never gave up even during the darkest hours. I could feel Hellen's perseverance to not give up when learning new things. For example, even though Helen was blind she ended up graduating from college. Another example is when Helen learned sign language even when she was mad at teacher. Although Helen couldn't see, she kept on working hard and never gave up! The second reason I would recommend this book is because of the point of view the author used. The book Helen Keller was written in third person. An example of third person from the story is “Mrs. Keller stood over her little girl. She smiled and waved her hand in front of Helen's face.” Another example of third person from the story is “For a long time nothing happened. Then suddenly Helen stood very still. She seemed to be listening as hard as she could.” I am confident that this is the best book ever and I strongly believe that I have given you great examples of Helen Keller. Now you know why I love this book!
