Fisher Price Imaginext Large Black & Red Pirate Ship with 2 Figures Playset

My son keeps coming back to play with the pirate ship over and over. It is a huge hit with his friends as well. Imaginext toys are super durable and really do fire the imagination. They have the potential to be heirloom toys - toys that are worth holding on to for the next generation.

My son is 3 years old, and loves playing with the Imaginext Pirate Ship. It comes with 2 pirates with swords, a cannon that has 3 launchers, and the ship has many moveable pieces to keep your child occupied. My son loves shooting the cannons out of the bottom of the ship. He also loves setting up the pirates to sword fight on the back of the ship, where you simply turn the disc to make the pirates move. He also loves putting up the sails, and then putting the pirate in the circle and turning to make the sails come down again. There are similar circles to move the plank in and out, and put the anchor up and down. With all of the moving parts, this keeps my son occupied and interested. I love hearing him use his imagination as he plays, telling the pirates to "walk the plank" and sailing his ship around our living room while he makes up adventures for the pirates to go on. I also love that there is storage in the bottom of the ship for the cannons and pirates, so we can keep all of the parts together and nothing gets lost.
