I live in a 55 community. One neighbor will knock insistently and louder and then ring my doorbell until I respond. This takes care of that! My door is metal, so I use a magnet to hold it on. Not sure it would be secure on an exterior door otherwise. But it's thicker than motel hangers, so it does okay in the weather.
