These white metal baseboard registers have a 7/8" turnback depth from the wall and are made of solid steel. Each grille is listed based off the actual hole opening - therefore to order you will want to make sure to measure the hole opening in your baseboard and base your order off that. The overall faceplate dimensions are 1 1/4" larger than the listed size, meaning a 10" x 8" will measure 11 1/4" x 9 1/4" overall.
