Sturdy and Well-Made

The hangers are well-made and probably work well for most baskets; however, since mine are hung from small hooks at the overhang of a bay window, I had to climb a ladder and hold the plant to attach to the hanger. The problem is that the length is controlled by a switch, which locks it in place. I could not pull down on the adjustable wire string once it was locked in place at the top of the hanger, which I could not reach from the ground. Therefore, it took two of us to heist the basket up to the hanger. I was the one on the ladder and felt unsafe trying to hook it onto the hanger.

Why did I buy this, when it says right on the description “don't hang too high to reach”. I thought that was the purpose, to be able to pull down from a high spot, but it didn't.
