Space Heater, Paris Rhone 1500W Oscillating Electric Space Heater w/ Remote for Home, Black

I was reordering a heater I purchased last year. I received a unit that is different than the one I ordered. However, it is still just as great as the one I bought last year.. This little heater is big on power and runs so quietly. I still find it difficult to navigate the remote, but would recommend the heater to anyone.

I have traditionally used simple space heaters based on a simple coil heater system and a fan. As simple as they were, they seem to break rather easily. When my 3rd one failed, I looked into a newer design that hopefully will last longer. This heater is completely opposite from a simple heater with electronic/LED controls, a digital thermostat, oscillation feature, and even a remote control. The main feature I am concerned about is the heat, however, and this heater puts out intense heat. Sitting just 18 inches away results in scorching heat, which I like but could probably lead to a burn if not careful. I also like the timer feature so that I don't have to worry about it running too long if I leave the room and forget. The beeping is quite loud but can be toggled on/off using the remote. It has a very sensitive safety switch on the bottom of the unit that not only activates when simply lifting up the heater, but also requires you to restart the heater. A little annoying, but in the end, is much safer. I am looking forward to using this more in the coming months and wish I would have gotten this earlier.
