Shadow of Colossus (Playstation 2)

I can see that this game got some mixed reviews by gamers who shop at Wal-Mart, but I will praise this game to anyopne who will listen. I think that the designers intended for the game not to have music so that it would give the feeling of being alone in a dream. The graphics are outstanding, The world in the game is a huge place. There are no monsters aside from the main enemies and they are colossal (hence the name). Anyhow bringing down these giants is a task and each one is different. I really enjoyed this game. I recommend it for ages 16 and up. It's not dirty or violent, but I think you need a certain level of maturity to appreciate a game like this one. Happy gaming.

I bought this on October 28th, 2005. I knew months before this game was released that this would be a masterpiece and I was right. From the creators of ICO, comes a story starring the protagonist named Wander and his horse Agro coming to a mysterious region trying to resurrect his love by slaying the Colossi. Everything about this game is great. The music, story, gameplay and of course graphics. I would love to see one day a remake of this and ICO on the Playstation 3, it would make my day. If you enjoy a cinematic experience, then this is for you, though I warn you beforehand, there are no regular enemies while traveling the huge map to get to each Colossus, its one boss fight after another. The story is fabulous and needs to be played to believe.
