Either come together at the top or both sides stay separate like a swing. I think it coming together is a bit cuter.

Dream swing!
This swing is magical. I have wanted one for a while but haven't had the guts to get it. I finally gave in and got it and I'm so glad I did. It's so cute and perfect for the boho look I am going for in my room. I don't have them in the pic but the lights just add to the aesthetic!
