This chair is exactly as you see it in the picture. I haven't had it a long time. But it seems very well built (good materials) and was easy to put together by myself. Instructions were straightforward. You almost didn't need them. I'm a little bigger guy and there is plenty of room for me. Its comfortable if you are looking for support, which I am. If a chair is too soft and comfortable, then I tend to fall asleep in it more often when watching a movie or reading.
