Alray is an affirmation of modern chic with its mix of acetate and metal and its signature feature: an engraved pattern on the bridge and the metal inserts on each side of the lenses, giving a masculine and charismatic touch to this classic shape. Serengeti mineral lenses are made with borosilicate optical glass, coming from Corning. Every pair of Serengeti mineral lens is unique and comes to life through an intense hydrogen-firing process. Plus, the lenses are chemically tempered to ensure scratch and impact resistance, then ground to perfection. All this process allows their mineral lenses to withstand extreme temperature changes and gives the best visual acuity you could ever experience. A full 20% thinner and lighter, Serengeti Borosilicate mineral glass lenses are finer than any other lens. An anti-reflective coating is added to the backside of the lens, cancelling the scattering light that causes reflective glare.

Frame is a shiny wood grain/shiny dark gunmetal. The lenses are polarized 555nm blue ultra-light mineral glass. As a beautiful variation of the 555nm, the 555nm blue features a reflective blue dielectric mirror coating, which offers a category 2 to 3 555nm lens protection that reflects more glare and improves contrast. On select models, the nose pads can be adjusted for a comfortable fit on the nose while adjustable temple tips allow for a snug fit behind the ears. Megol nose pads and temple tips absorb moisture, keeping frames securely in place. Silicone nose pads can be adjustable for a comfortable fit.
