From the first page recounting of the dog under the table at mealtime, I was hooked! The first time I read this book I checked it out from my local library. I loved it so much I bought it. I make it a point to periodically reread it and highly recommend it to anyone interested in deepening their relationship with their dog. This is NOT a training how-to book! It is about building and deepening your relationship with your dog. If understanding and respecting your dog is important to you, this book is a must read.
