very quite and gets the job done!

we love this pencil sharpener! it is remarkably quieter and faster as stated in the description. it only takes about 3-5 seconds to sharpen a un-used pencil or one with a broken tip. this produces much less shavings and the sharpened end of the pencil is very smooth, no matter what type of wood. we have sharpened all kinds of pencils - colored pencils, watercolor pencils and regular #2 school pencils. it has something called "tip saver technology" that prevents any pencil from being over sharpened which of course extends usuage of it. i am quite satisfied with this pencil sharpener for my home use.

Another great Bostitch product

The Bostitch QuietSharp Executive Electric Pencil Sharpener, Black is a small, but heavy duty sharpener that sharpens quick and to the point (pun intended). It stores pencil shaving in an easy to remove, pull-out bin. It is made from sturdy plastic and is electric, which is a big plus for me because I will not have to worry about batteries. This product is definitely recommended.

Sharp Sharp

We love this pencil sharpener! My son is always breaking his pencils while doing his homework and he had a small cheap one he has in his pencil box to sharpen himself. now he can just sit at his desk and just put his pencil in the sharpener and his pencils sharpen quickly. We really like the sharpener and its fairly quiet. It doesnt slide on the desk and easy to remove shavings cup. Overall, great sharpener!
