I too, have used this product for 25 plus years. It is as good if not better than most other brands. I give it a very heavy creamy coating with a brush, and if it looks like tge deck would take in another coating i’ll do so. Any new deck i would start out with the nuetral/clear coat. I’ve used other colors too. It gives the wood grains where you can see them plainly. Except of course for the solid stain option. Priced good and does the job
