I have had a Sonicare toothbrush for over 10 years. Finally, this old toothbrush started shutting off before the 2 minutes was up. I phoned customer service and was advised the unit is not repairable. I purchased a new Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Sonic and I truly love it. It is quite an improvement to the old one I was using - love the extra speeds & intensities.

I was hesitant to purchase a sonicare toothbrush for a long time, thinking I could do just as good a job with a standard toothbrush. After my last dental cleaning, my hygienist advised I purchase a sonicare since I wasn't quite doing a great job with my back gums and teeth. I am a very motivated tooth and gum cleaner, so I've had issues with my gums receding. My hygienist convinced me to give the Sonicare a try. I am so glad I did. Very easy to use, NO MORE BRUSHING my gums...the vibration does all the work. Love this product. I continue to floss once daily and use my new Sonicare!

We've had our FlexCare Platinum for over three months and have used it every day. It has been working well. I'm glad it has multiple settings. My wife likes the deep clean setting, and I like the regular clean mode. I also really like the pressure sensor. I have the tendency to push the brush too hard against my teeth, and the toothbrush lets me know immediately when I do this.
