DJ's Dream

I purchased this amp over two years ago and it hasn't missed a beat. The sound is deep and clear. I hear original background instruments that you don't hear with other sound systems. Several people come up to see what kind of amp I am using. I want to also give a shout to the tech guy for helping me choose the right crossover for my newly designed speakers. This is a great company and I will be buying another one of these amps after I design and build another set of speakers!.

Seismic Audio Amps Rock

Ok, I’m an old feller at 68, retired and life long audiophile. Our theatre I built for Evelyn and I is (I humbly submit), THE BOMB!! A true 12.2 system. With a top-of-the-line Yamaha Aventage as the sound processor, I feed from there to (count ‘em) 5 Seismic Amps (four 2 channel + one 4 channel.) I utilize 2 of these amps, (The Amplifier being reviewed here), for rear and side surrounds, the Epicenter 4-channel for all four Atmosphere speakers; a monster 1200 wpc (@8 ohms) amp for my L/R towers; and a 500 wpc to my 2 centers. (yes I split the signal from the sound processor so I can utilize both channels on that seismic app and both of my center speakers.) I have run all my Seismic amps hard, for several years and the bang for your buck, is not just unprecedented, but a downright unbelievable value. Of all the websites I visit and have visited over the years, seismic audio is still my favorite. Plus, they have all the patch cables to run wires from your receiver to your amps, as well as things like speakon connectors. I’ve converted all 24 wires coming from speakers to speakon connectors that go to the various amplifiers. And even though I have fans on my entertainment center, (in addition to the built in amplifier fans), it’s not filtered air to the extent I would like. So, One amplifier at a time, every few years, I take apart such that I can clean the cooling fans and lubricate them. Gives you a chance to clean up your amp while you’re at it with safe compressed air cans. And lastly, if you were to buy one of the name brand amps on the Internet, you would get about a quarter of the power, at about three times the cost, And often, with specs not as good as those of seismic audio. Seismic audio rocks. Simply, the best.
