I purchased this curtain rod a few years ago from a different retailer and needed the longer length when I moved. (Be sure to unscrew the finial from the rod if you're moving. I forgot they unscrewed, and one broke off in transit.) I searched high and low for the same curtain rod in the longer length, and I couldn't believe it when Hayneedle had it for half the price. I bought two, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. The pewter/bronze color is beautiful. It looks expensive and blends in a room with multiple furniture finishes. The finials look antique, and you can't tell they're PVC unless you weight them in your hand. I also love the sun-shaped medallion on the braces. The hardware is easy to work with; I put them up by myself without any problem. The rod comes with a center brace to ensure it doesn't sag at all.
