Merten & Storck Pre-Seasoned Carbon Steel Black Frying Pan, 12-inch

This pan is exactly as advertised! It was delivered today and came pre-seasoned so after a quick hot water wash I used it to sear some pork chop strips, fantastic! No sticking at all, cleaned with a couple of paper towels and performed flawlessly. Best pan for the price I've ever purchased. Highly recommend it.

I've used gas stoves all my life, that is up until the past few years. I currently use an electric stove and am having the hardest time getting used to it. I always used cast iron pans but unfortunately they aren't conducive to electric glass top stoves. I switched to stainless steel but seemed to burn everything. I tried your small carbon steel pan and fell in love. It worked so well on my electric stove that I sought to purchase other sizes. I ordered the 10 and 12 inch pans and love them. It's the closest to cooking in cast iron without the weight and glass scratching.
