An absolutely cult record. V Mozg! (To the Brain!) is the 1996 debut album of Moscow industrial group Sobaki Tabaka (Tapaka Dogs). Sobaki Tabaka evolved from the ashes of one of the most unusual Russian metal combos of the early 90s, exotic funk metal trio Crownear. But by the end of 1993, after one fine LP in 1991, Crownear was no more, and the band's leader, guitarist, and singer Robert Ostrolutski started Sobaki Tabaka with some of Crownear's former members. Sobaki Tabaka was like no other band on brutal Russian stage of those days - in fact, it was the very first industrial metal combo in Russia. The band's sound drew on Coil, Throbbing Gristle, and Einstürzende Neubauten, as well as Brian Eno's ambient works.
