Great Performance Running from Tremor18 Powered Speakon Port

Before Purchasing these I spoke with Rusty on his advise about running these off my 2 Powered Tremor18 satellite output. His Reply" Tremor18 Satellite/Binding post outputs are stable down to 4? each channel, left and right. These outputs can not be bridged. They operate at 220W RMS @ 4?." I run left and right XLR in to bridge the sub. Then daisy Chain to The other Tremor. I used a 22" pole to mount the SA100T above both. I am Using Speakon to run them in stereo. Using the Balance to channel left thru #1 and Right thru #2. I am running them thru a Sound Blaster pro studio sound card output thru my laptop. I am very impressed with the sound quality of the SA100T and the power of the Tremor18 satellite amp. The Pro Studio Sound card has preamp EQ. This required a little adjustment to balance the Sub and SA100T. I am not running the High pass filter. The Bass from the SA100 and Tremor 18 enhance each other in full range. On high bass audio I can feel from 10-12 feet. Running around 100db on the peak. I estimate this is running at around 80 percent of what the system can handle with this setup. It is very loud an clear in all ranges. After 2 hours of steady usage at this level. Sub heat sinks were warm but not hot. I feel it would sustain this level indoors with no issues for any amount of time. Outdoors I will run 7" fans directed at heat sink to help keep them cool. I rated the Tremors at 4 out of 5 for premature clipping. I rate the SA100T 5 out of 5. Running the SA100T with the Tremor I rate 5 out of 5. The 2 units work very well together. Great product and Great Price. You simply cannot go wrong with SA.

perfect

got these to fill the missing range between the double 12" towers with 3x5 horns and 3 tweets each. was missing something in the vocal and guitar range. took a chance on these 10" doing the trick. I really do not like to buy things on specs. only, but was getting the magnitude 2400 at the time so for the price of a pair of these said give it a try.....well ...these are the perfect fill for the missing sounds. cannot believe all the money I have spent over the years on "audiophile" speakers that honestly cant hold a tuning fork to these. got a set of baby tremors 15" passive to round out the bottom end. running the towers (4 total) and the other 4 pairs of misc. 70"s area speakers off of the magnitude 2400 (this amp is so clean it makes me dance) through an impedance matching distribution box (passive)(and clean). using an old realistic MPA 250 bridged for the subs and a DBX 223 crossover. typical Friday night is running about 45 watts at 8 ohm measure to the mains , and about 120 at 8 ohms at the subs. the sound is so clean you can still have a conversation , while your drink dances across the table. awesome just totally awesome . I need more stuff from SEISMIC AUDIO. everybody does.

Just what I was missing!

Was just what I was missing! The nice mid range thump of the 10" was just what I was lacking I'm my setup. Had four 12" PA's before with your 15" aftershock sub which was good but frequencies weren't perfect. Replaced the two bottom 12" in my array with these high quality dual 10" and whoa....finally perfection! Still breaking them in and leaning on them more and more each time but just keep getting better. Thanks!
