Meh

I come down right on the middle on this one. MOre like 2.5 stars. I found the book to be rather boring. I know other people who sorta liked it. This is the continuing story except it's in another dimension. There is a new main character inroduced, a young boy on the lam from mysterious people who are also searching for his father. As he's running away from his pursuers he stumbles across a gateway to another dimension where adults are absent and the children are forming a Lord of the FLies community. The subtle knife enters into at one point and is what cut the gateway between dimensions. All around kind of average book. The story is only slightly interesting, but mostly it lacks a certain "joy de vivre"(however you spell it). It didn't entertain me much and I felt like tha author hated either me or the characters.
