Fun but a bit unwieldy for a youngster

This is a very fun book for a grandmother and bird-lover, but likely a bit drawn out for a youngster. Nonetheless, it still has the energy of the Cat in the Hat, and all of his rhyming ebullience, so hopefully will still appeal to the young kiddes.
