Might be good for a trainer

These things compress way too much, which I guess is the point but not good for me. Definitely not going to use them on a plane with wheel pants. I've had Sullivan Sky-Lite tires for years and figured I'd finally give these a try. Nope. Sullivans are foam core wheels with a rubber wheel coating on the outside and don't compress a lot. These would bottom out my Ultra Stik's wheel pants in no time plus on gravel with a taildragger these things would be causing nose-overs. Sticking with the Sullivans. That said the quality of these seems good and would probably be good on a trainer or open wheeled plane with a paved runway or grass cut real close but for what I'm doing and the field I'm on they are not a good tire. If I bounce too much with the Sullivans it means I just need to practice more.
